I don’t want to give away the show too much, so let me just say that you will be entertained from the minute you step foot into the castle until you are back in your car on the way out! You also get to enjoy the majestic horses and other animals. You are introduced to the King and Princess, and then the Knights. When it comes to making sure you family has a great time, Medieval Times knows what they are doing! Every section has a different Knight that you cheer for throughout the night. At Medieval Times you can visit with the king, step into a medieval village before dinner, and eat your dinner with your hands (which I think was my daughters favorite part ha!). They also offer refreshment and booze that you can preorder for your dinner!įrom the moment you step into the Medieval Times castle you are transported back to a time where Kings ruled the lands and the main form of transportation was a beautiful horse. They have something for everyone! We opted to grab a flag for our Knight that we would be cheering for that evening (Black and White for life yo!) and my daughter had to have a sword so she could pretend to be a Knight too.
I wanted to share with you 5 reasons you should take your family to Medieval Times so your family can have a “Knight” to remember like ours did! Let’s start with #1….īefore you head in for dinner you have time to look around the castle! In the main room they have all kinds of souvenirs available for purchase. I didn’t tell my daughter we were going until we pulled up and she was SO excited! My family had a wonderful night, an awesome meal, and memories to last a lifetime. I had spoken to a few friends of mine that live in Orlando and they all told me how much we would love Medieval Times. So I did some research and decided that they were right! My daughter loves anything medieval and who doesn’t love a great meal right? So I got in touch with the awesome people at Medieval Times and set up a time to visit while we were in Orlando. I wanted to plan a special surprise for our first night in Orlando and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. It’s warm, friendly, and fun! It takes us about 10 hours to drive there, but it’s a pretty drive so it’s not to bad! We like road trips anyways! Who can argue with that right!? Orlando is one of my favorite cities to visit any time of the year. Spring Break is when my family chooses a fun new destination to visit! This year my daughter asked if we could go to Orlando, FL to visit Universal Studios. One of my favorite times of the year is when Spring Breaks rolls around.
